National Amateur Championships 2021: GB seeds announced

GB Boxing has put forward seven boxers as seeds for the England Boxing National Amateur Championships (NACs) 2021.
They include Hamza Mehmood, who will be searching for a third straight national title at elite level having won in 2018 and 2019, and fellow past winners Aaron Bowen and Jodie Wilkinson (both in 2019).
GB other four seeds, John O’Meara, Joe Tyers, Ramtin Musah (in 2019) and Courtney Bennett (in 2018), have all been losing finalists and will be looking to go one better this time after the Championships were cancelled in 2020 because of Covid-19.
All GB seeds will enter the draw at the quarter-final stage. England Boxing seeds will be selected once regional entries have been received by no later than 22nd November.
The NACs pre quarter-finals take place at the Spiceball Leisure Centre in Banbury on Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals stages the following weekend (Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December) at the Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock.
The showpiece Finals Day will be held on Saturday 11th December at the University of East London’s SportsDock.
The Senior National Development Championships 2021 are running alongside this year’s NACs in order it be fit into this calendar year following extensive disruption due to Covid-19.
