Chair of the Board – Richard Brooke

Richard has been Chair of England Boxing since 2022. An experienced sports and media industry executive, he has held a number of senior management, non-executive and chair roles in in both private and public UK and international companies.

After starting his career in finance, Richard went on to become Group Finance Director of Sky plc. He has also been an Executive Director of Setanta Sports, a Senior Advisor to Close Brothers corporate finance and Chair of GBI Racing. In addition to his role at England Boxing, he is presently Chair of CleanEvent, the UK’s leading cleaning services company specialising in sport, leisure, healthcare and retail venues.

Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in strategic, commercial, financial and transformation management to the organisation.
