Vacancies – board directors from within amateur boxing

As a result of reaching forthcoming term limits / non-term renewal, England Boxing is seeking to appoint new Directors from within amateur boxing to the Board.
The successful candidates will help play a significant role in shaping the future of the sport nationally and internationally, by providing boxing knowledge and specific skills experience and in doing so help produce the next four year strategic plan and then oversee its implementation.
The roles call for good judgment, tenacity, diplomacy and an ability to listen, understand and translate the needs of the membership into long term strategic development of the sport in England.
A focus will be on providing judgement and boxing knowledge on issues of England Boxing’s strategy, performance, resources and standard of conduct. In addition, specific areas of skill and experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous: technical and rules, officiating, coaching and development, medical, high performance, risk management, membership development, diversity, equality and inclusion, education sector and sport with schools.
