Team England squad confirmed for the EUBC Junior European Championships 2023

The Team England squad for the EUBC Junior European Championships 2023 in Romania can now be announced.

The tournament is due to take place between Wednesday 19th July and Monday 31st July in Ploiesti, Romania.

The squad has been selected following a Junior European selection camp, which took place at Tamworth Boxing Club last weekend, with the selection panel ratifying the coaches’ decision and ensuring selection policy and assessment processes were followed correctly.

The team will consist of the following 19 boxers and one reserve:

The team will be led by national coach Mick Maguire and supported by performance coach John Stubbs and Development coaches Phil Knight, Dave Johnstone and Naadrah Hafeez. The team manager for this tournament is Martin Webb.

The squad will attend four-weekend residential camps this summer, in preparation for the tournament.
