Sport England launch new 10-year strategy
January 26, 2021 | by Matt Halfpenny
Sport England has today (Tuesday 26 January) launched its new strategy for the next 10 years.
It’s vision is to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity and moves away from the traditional format of producing a strategy every four years.
The new strategy incorporates the changes needed because of the huge impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic and also underlines a determination to make sport and physical activity more inclusive, regardless of their ethnicity, gender, age, beliefs, background or whether or not they have a disability.
It also focuses on the importance of everyone working together across the sector, and also engaging with organisations outside of it, to achieve common goals.
