Sparring Update
October 31, 2017 | by Gemma Field
31st October 2017
Under England Boxing guidelines sparring should only take place when it is between EB registered Boxers who are covered by a current EB medical clearance, as recorded on their EB registration cards. England Boxing will only accept registration of boxers after their tenth birthday thereby debarring children under ten from taking part in sparring. This is for medical/safeguarding reasons. Clubs who are associated with classes or any activity with children under ten must not allow sparring amongst these children. Any more information regarding this notice please contact Gordon Valentine, EB National Compliance Manager.
