Performance selects team for Enrique Rodriguez Tournament

England Performance has selected seven male senior boxers for this month’s Dacal Enrique Rodriguez tournament.
The team will compete between the 24th and 28th September in Móstoles, a suburb of Madrid, Spain, as they aim to retain the ‘Best Team’ trophy they secured in the 2023 edition.
Freddie Pullen and Osama Mohamed will again represent England in the competition, having won gold and bronze respectively last year.

Rio Gordon will compete in the Senior Men category, with the remaining six boxers in the Under 22 section.
Harwich boxer Gordon is excited to put his best foot forward: “I’m looking forward to making my international debut in an England vest. I believe preparation has gone great, supported by a fantastic set of England coaches.
My goal is to medal in this tournament.”
Amanda Coulson will lead a coaching team of Phil Knight and Dean Sugden with Natasha Barnes attending as the team physiotherapist. David Porter will support the competition as a referee and judge.
