BUCS Boxing Championships 2023 reach their conclusion

The British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Boxing Championships 2023 took place at the weekend, with more than 280 competitors taking part.

The event was held at the University of Portsmouth and saw entries from universities from across the country, including Northumbria in the North East and Plymouth in the South West.

Both students from the University of Portsmouth and members of Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy helped set and take down the rings and help out in general.

Thanks also go out to the team of England Boxing officials who attended the even to oversee proceedings.

After the success, the University of Portsmouth is set to host the event again next year.
