Team England announce squad for the EUBC Schools European Championships 2023

A strong squad of 21 boxers has been selected by Team England for the EUBC Schools European Championships 2023, which will take place in Maribor, Slovenia from Tuesday 15th to Saturday 26th August.

10 female and 11 male boxers make up the squad, following an England Performance selection camp held at Tamworth Boxing Club between 24th and 25th June.

England’s coaching team for the tournament has also been determined as Q Shillingford, Andy Marksby, John Hodkinson, Shanice Lauren and Preya Dhanecha make the trip to Slovenia, led by National Coach Mick Maguire. Tyrone Harold is the team manager for the tournament.

The Schools team will also take part in four Team England preparation camps ahead of flying out to the Balkan Peninsula.
