England Boxing statement regarding current Covid-19 situation

Following queries from a number of clubs, England Boxing can confirm that in accordance with current government advice and regulations, amateur boxing activity under its jurisdiction, including competitions and club shows, can continue as planned.
However, clubs should note that government regulations and advice will continue to be monitored closely and this position could change rapidly.
Clubs are reminded that they should follow the recommended government, England Boxing and venue regulations and guidelines and take into consideration the safety implications for all concerned, including any spectators present.
They should also take into account the potential costs and loss of income should bouts or shows not be able to go ahead because of Covid-19 infections.
England Boxing will provide a further update should the situation change.
