No need to send in clear DBS certificates

England Boxing members looking to renew their DBS certificate are reminded that they don’t need to send it to head office if it is clear.

UCHECK – through whom all England Boxing DBS certificates are initially assessed – automatically send through notifications of clear certificates so they can be uploaded on The Vault.

This will help members save on paying unnecessary postage and for self-addressed envelopes for the return of their certificates, as well as the time spent doing this.

However, members still need to send in their DBS certificate if it has a conviction or convictions on it.

This will ensure that those offences can then be assessed by the England Boxing safeguarding team.
