The England Boxing National Junior Championships 2021 semi-finals and finals, previously scheduled for Saturday 20th November and Saturday 21st November, will now take place the following weekend, Saturday 27th November and Sunday 28th November.

They will take place alongside the England Boxing National Amateur Championships 2021 and Senior Development pre-quarter-finals, which will be held on Sunday 28th November.

This change has been made after consultation with the England Boxing regions, and the decision taken in a bid to help clubs save on travel and accommodation costs.

England Boxing would also like to clarify that the England Boxing National Youth Development Championships quarter-finals will not take place as part of the England Boxing National Youth Championships 2021 weekend and will instead be completed in the regions by Sunday 10th October.

The England Boxing National Amateur Championships 2021 and National Senior Developments Championships 2021 pre-quarter-finals will take place on Sunday 28th November and finals for those on Saturday 11th December.

“With so many events so close together in order to get them in at the end of this year after Covid-19 disruption, it was felt that bringing the Juniors and NACs pre-quarters together on the same weekend would be a sensible move,” said England Boxing’s Competitions and Events Manager, Lynsey Lockey.

“For clubs who have boxers involved in both, it will mean one trip instead of two, and cut down on costs as well.”

Venues for the Championships at various age groups will be announced in due course.
