Get behind Time To Talk Day on 4th February

Mental health has never been so important and that’s why England Boxing is supporting Time To Talk Day on Thursday 4th February and encouraging our members to start talking about mental health.

The last 12 months have been challenging, but we know that the more conversations we have about mental health, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, and the closer we will come to ending mental health stigma and discrimination.

This year Time to Talk Day is focusing on the power of small, because however you have a conversation about mental health – whether it’s a quick text, a virtual catch-up, or a phone chat with a club-mate – it has the power to make a big difference.

Time to Talk Day is run by Time to Change to help spread the word that you can talk about mental health anywhere, anytime.

Catch-up and coffee calls

England Boxing will be hosting a number of catch-up and coffee calls throughout the day of 4th February, centred around the Five Ways to Wellbeing (above). Free places are for people over the age of 16, and you can book by clicking here.

Alternatively, if your club wishes to host your own coffee and catch-up event, please contact the Mental Health lead for England Boxing, Lynette Mayo at Boxinmind@englandboxing.org to arrange this and talk through the resources and subjects to discuss.
