Can your club help roll out Maverick Stars’ food programme?

Maverick Stars Trust is offering support England Boxing-affiliated clubs that can offer immediate relief in their communities during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The charity is particularly keen to help clubs who and have the opportunity to support children and young people affected by the school closures who will now have difficulty in receiving a free school meal from their school.

The following information needs to be provided by the club and added to the application form in the link below.

• Clubs need to source a local community partner to provide food, or if they have their own kitchen, can make up food bags themselves.
• Clubs need to know and evidence the number of young people they will need to support.
• The value of .support needs to be no higher than £2.50 per day, per child.
• The support will be for a maximum of four weeks.
• This program of support will be open until 20^th April 2020.
