Peckham ABC is a small club which aims to work in the community to get kids active and off the street.
The hope is that some of these young people will eventually go on to compete for the club.
The club works together with groups such as the Active Communities Network, which do a lot, particularly in the Southwark area, to reduce youth violence.
The club has plans to extend its offering, which would allow it to triple its membership and add extra sessions for the community and schools.
The grant provided by England Boxing and Revolut has helped the club with paying rent for three months, which has taken a massive load off the coaches and made it easier to concentrate on the boxers’ needs and the boxing.
