England Boxing’s 12-month Level 3 Coaching Programme for 2023-24 formally launches tomorrow (Saturday 1st April).
A host of coaches applied, were interviewed and have been accepted onto the programme, with 33 successful candidates in total.
The learning journey will consist of a number of online tasks, community discussions, peer reviews, face-to-face deliveries and assessments designed to support coaches to deliver successful club programmes, and support individual boxers to achieve their own personal goals.
Participants will learn from experienced coaches in boxing, and experts in supporting fields, such as physiology, sports science and nutrition.
“We are delighted to have had such continued interest in our England Boxing Level 3 coaching programmes,” said England Boxing’s Workforce Development Manager Sarah Collings.
“The next 12 months will be a really exciting time for all the coach on the programme who are keen to learn and have committed their time to their own professional development.
As the pinnacle of the coaching pathway, this programme will allow coaches to learn from each other, work together and seek to draw the very best out of each other.”
Applications for the next round of the Level 3 Senior Coaching Programme will open in September 2023.
