Women in Boxing 2023 nominees

The England Boxing Women in Boxing Awards 2023 shortlist can now be announced.
For each category – Outstanding Boxer of the Year, Outstanding Coach of the Year and Outstanding Official of the Year – a shortlist of three has been selected by an expert panel from 199 initial nominations.
The overall winners will be announced at the England Boxing Women in Boxing Conference 2023, which will take place next Friday (8th December) at Holiday Inn, Pennington Suite, Leigh Sports Village, before the start of the weekend’s England Boxing Women’s Winter Box Cup.
Arrival for the Women in Boxing Conference event is 5.30pm for a 6pm start, with a 9pm conclusion.
The shortlists are in alphabetical order, and the club and region affiliated with each are in brackets.
Outstanding Boxer of the Year shortlist
Elise Glynn (West Warks, Midlands)
Jasmina Lujkaj (Redcar, Tyne Tees & Wear)
Ruby Else White (Sturminster Newton, Western Counties).
Outstanding Coach of the Year shortlist
Nadraah Hafeez (Gladiators, Yorkshire)
Preya Dhanecha (All Stars, London)
Vicki Baker (Peterborough Police, Eastern Counties).
Outstanding Official of the Year shortlist
Denise Coe (Hoddesdon, Home Counties)
Natalia Moroz (Finchley, London)
Terri Kelly (Haringey, London).
Register to attend the Women in Boxing Conference
It is not too late to register for the England Boxing Women in Boxing Conference – you can do so up to 4pm Sunday 3rd December.
In addition to the Awards, the event will feature speakers who will discuss relevant issues to women’s boxing and the chance to network with others.
