Temporary change in DBS applications process

England Boxing would like to advise members applying for DBS certificates that a change in the application process has been made in the light of the Coronavirus outbreak.
In line with the current government guidelines regarding social distancing, temporary changes to Standard and Enhanced ID checking guidelines have been made.
It enables ID documents to be viewed either via video link or scanned images to be used in replacement of original documents and verified via video link.
It is important to note that the applicant will still be required to present the original versions of these documents when they first attend their coaching or volunteering role.
