STING Sports becomes England Boxing’s technical and apparel supplier

England Boxing has agreed to a five-year deal with STING Sports to become its new technical and apparel supplier.

The global boxing brand was the official boxing equipment supplier at the previous two Commonwealth Games and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

STINGis also a major sponsor of several boxing federations, including Boxing Australia, USA Boxing and Italian Boxing Federation, and has also signed GB Boxing as it continues to build a strong presence in the UK.

“We are delighted to have partnered with such a progressive and innovative brand as STING, which is keen to engage with, and bring benefits to, our membership and England boxers competing on the international stage,” said England Boxing Chief Executive Officer, Gethin Jenkins.

“The length of the agreement reflects the extent of the commitment, and we’re very much looking forward to working alongside STING to ensure everyone has access to the very best equipment when they step into the ring at our events.”

As a result of the partnership, England Boxing-affiliated clubs will receive with exclusive pricing on STING apparel and equipment.

All boxers across England Boxing’s National Championships finals at the various age categories will wear STING gloves and headguards, where required, as will those training with England’s international squads.

STING will also be at England Boxing’s major events to sell a wide range of equipment and merchandise, while their website shop will be linked through from the England Boxing home page.
