Sheffield Boxing Centre Provide Free Boxing for Local Children

Yorkshire Club Sheffield Boxing Centre have given back to the community over the summer by providing free boxing session for local children.
The sessions, held at Stannington Park in Sheffield are aimed to help the local kids in the communty stay active and healthy over the school holidays.
The activities have raised the clubs profile and encouraged new members to join the club and continue to box after the summer scheme finishes.
Club Support Officer for Yorkshire, Ashleigh Hurrell said: “Sheffield Boxing Centre have done an incredible job of running these sessions over the summer for local children. It has given them the opportunity to remain active over the school holidays when a lot of children become sedentary. It’s another great example of how Boxing is helping communities.”
