Performance reveals squad for Schools European Championships 2024

England Boxing is delighted to confirm the athletes who will represent their country at the EUBC Schools European Championships 2024 in Banja Luka, Bosnia between 1st and 11th August 2024.
The 14-strong squad is made up of seven boys and seven girls and represents an array of backgrounds and regions from across the country.
The selection was ratified in line with the England Performance selection policy, following a camp held at Tamworth Boxing Club on the first weekend of June.

The squad will now meet at four preparation camps before flying out to the Balkans, as they aim to peak perfectly ahead of the competition.
The Three Lions will be led by Mick Maguire, with Jason Gledhill, Steve Bryant, Liam Alloway and Naadrah Hafeez joining him.
Teigan King, representing High Fell ABC, is selected for a second year in a row and hopes to better last year’s success: “I am honoured to have the opportunity to box for my country again. It shows me that the hard work and dedication is paying off, not just for me but for my family and coaches for all the time and effort they put into me.
“After losing in the final last year and getting a silver medal, I hope to do one better this year and hopefully get the gold.”
