More than 500 at 15-bout sell-out Team Shoe-Box show
November 6, 2022 | by Matt Halfpenny
A sell-out crowd in excess of 500 attended the second Team Shoe-Box Open Show at the Park Inn by Radisson, Northampton – and what an occasion it proved to be.
A total of 15 high-quality and competitive bouts were contested, with every single combatant doing themselves and their club proud with their performances.
The club would like to thank its loyal supporters working behind the scenes ensuring everything ran so smoothly, plus the travelling clubs for making the journey and providing such strong opposition.
It would also like to extend special gratitude to the East Midlands Region of England Boxing Officials, led on the day by OIC, Clare Lynch.
Next up for the club is the NABGCs and a number of East Midlands Belt Matches, while a next amateur show is planned for early next year.
