The NSPCC’s Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) launches its Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport week today, running from 6–12 October. The campaign aims to highlight ways parents and carers can ensure children are safe and well supported in sport.

Play your part – bring out the best in your child

The part you play in your child’s sport can have a big impact on how your child feels about sport and physical activities.

Whether your child’s goal is to achieve a winning score, a personal best, be a good teammate or to simply enjoy their sport, your positive support can help them achieve their goals.

How to play your part:

  • Listen to your child
  • Keep sport fun
  • Respect everyone
  • See something, say something

Watch the latest video from the NSPCC and play your part to bring out their best.
