Entries Open for 2026 England Boxing National Amateur Championships

Entries are now open for the 2026 England Boxing National Amateur Championships, with boxers invited to enter through The Locker.

The National Amateur Championships is the oldest and most prestigious amateur boxing competition in the country.

Dating back to 1881, the likes of Frank Bruno, Ricky Hatton, Carl Froch, Tony Bellew, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Nicola Adams, Savannah Marshall, Natasha Jonas and Karriss Artingstall are all former winners of the coveted national title belt.

Key dates

  • Entries go LIVE on the Locker on Monday 9th February and will Close on Tuesday 10th March at 12:00 (Midday)
  • Regional rounds to be completed by Sunday 29th March.
  • Female entries need to be boxed to 1 per weight per region.

England Boxing will host the event on the following days, at various locations nationwide:

  • Pre-Quarter Finals (4th April): Spice Ball Leisure Centre, Cherwell Dr, Banbury OX16 2BW
  • Quarter Finals & Semi Finals (11th-12th April): Magna Science Adventure Centre, Magna Way, Templeborough, Rotherham S60 1FD
  • Finals day (18th April): Derby Arena, Royal Way, Derby DE24 8JB
