England Boxing Teams Up with the Royal Marines

England Boxing are delighted to announce a landmark partnership with the Royal Marines, uniting two organisations best known for their discipline, resilience and commitment to excellence.

The collaboration will see the sport of boxing play a central role in inspiring young people, supporting recruitment into the Royal Marines, and strengthening links between the armed forces and the boxing community.

As part of the partnership, the Royal Marines will work closely with England Boxing to promote recruitment opportunities across the country, utilising the sport’s reach and grassroots network to engage with potential candidates who embody the Marines’ trademark grit and determination.

In turn, England Boxing athletes on the Performance Programme will visit Royal Marines barracks throughout the year to deliver exclusive training sessions, fitness challenges, and joint workshops. These visits will give Marines and boxers alike a unique opportunity to learn from one another, testing physical limits and sharing insights into leadership, teamwork, and mental toughness.

That kind of perspective can be incredibly powerful in sport…especially when competing at the highest levels, where mindset and preparation are everything.”
