England Boxing partner with immersive experience company Rematch Live

England Boxing are delighted to have partnered with Rematch Live, a collaboration which will enable members exclusive opportunities to attend Rematch’s first boxing experience, ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ Rematch.
Rematch Live are the pioneers of immersive theatre, breathing new life into unforgettable sporting moments.
Their latest production, ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ Rematch will transport fans back to 1974 Zaire for a theatrical immersive production of the iconic George Foreman-Muhammad Ali bout using a live cast, live music, and cuisine local to Kinshasa.
The part theatre show, part festival will take you through the boxers’ press conference, their training camps and a choreographed production of the iconic bout itself. To keep the hype building in the lead-up to the bout, a live band will provide authentic rhythms of afrobeat, soul, salsa and beyond.
Shows will take place in London at Dock X in Canada Water, beginning on Thursday 14th September, with Rematch ambassador and former Earlsfield ABC boxer Joe Joyce set to be in attendance on the opening date.
England Boxing’s partnership with Rematch Live will see the National Governing Body receive a number of preview tickets for the pre-launch performances of ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ Rematch in September, with those tickets to be distributed amongst England Boxing-affiliated clubs and members.
A unique ticketing link will also be created, offering England Boxing members the opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
Rematch will also promote England Boxing and its initiatives to its unique audience.
Regarding the new partnership, England Boxing’s Head of Operations, Avoen Perryman said: “I am very pleased to see England Boxing partner with Rematch Live.
“The ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ is such a huge part of the history of our sport, and I for one am genuinely excited to see the spectacle in as close to the real thing as it could now be, with thanks to the launch of this immersive entertainment experience.
“This will be a first for us, and I am delighted that we will be able to offer a free exclusive viewing to hundreds of our members in and around London, as well as discounted entry to our members at large.
