England Boxing Nominated for Two 2024 Coach Core Awards

England Boxing is a finalist for two prestigious awards at the upcoming Coach Core Awards scheduled to be held at The Oval in London on February 7th.
Our nomination includes the coveted ‘Employer of the Year’ Award, and Gabrielle Reid is a strong contender for the ‘CSHO Apprentice of the Year.’
The exciting occasion aims to unite apprentices, alumni, their employers, and learning coaches, alongside supporters and other collaborators, to highlight and showcase all of the great work that Coach Core conducts nationwide over the year.
Our Apprenticeship Programme does just that as it initially began in partnership with Coach Core to upskill young people (aged between 16-25) from all over the country during a fifteen month period.
Now, in its second year of running, the initiative has grown from involving ten youngsters to thirteen. Gabrielle Reid was included in the inaugural cohort of Community Boxing Apprentices and is a dedicated boxing coach known for her commitment to championing inclusivity.
She has been responsible for introducing the sport to children with limited opportunities but has created a comfortable and positive environment for them to discover the sport in.
