England Boxing is pleased to publish its 2026–2028 Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP), reaffirming its commitment to making amateur boxing an inclusive, welcoming and accessible sport for all.

The new plan builds on the National Governing Body’s first DIAP, published in October 2024, and reflects the progress made across the organisation and wider sport over the past two years. It also recognises that there is more to build on.

The 2026–2028 DIAP sets out England Boxing’s priorities and actions for the next two years, providing a clear framework for continuing to improve representation, remove barriers to involvement and embed inclusion throughout the sport.

Since the publication of the first plan, we have continued to work with members and the wider boxing community to better understand where progress is being made and where further action is needed.

The new DIAP builds on that learning and will help guide the next phase of our work, with progress against the plan continuing to be reviewed and shared.
