The 2024 England Boxing Annual Awards were held in Sheffield on 12th July 2024, celebrating the stellar achievements of individuals, clubs, and organisations in amateur boxing. The event, hosted at the St. Paul’s Mercure Hotel, was a resounding success, buzzing with excitement and a sense of unity amongst the community.

Following on from last year’s success, James Curtis of Solihull Boxing Club was the standout winner of the night, taking home not one but two accolades, marking a significant achievement for both himself and Solihull Amateur Boxing Club.

The awards ceremony was presented by Aky Karim, a broadcaster with an impressive resume that includes BBC Sport, Euro Sport, Talk Sport, and many more.

Over 140 guests were in attendance, including England Boxing alumni Johnny Nelson, Callum Simpson, Junior Whitter, and Sunny Edwards – each of whom took to the stage to offer words of encouragement to the nominees, contributing to the inspiring and celebratory atmosphere of the night.

The 2024 England Boxing Annual Awards not only recognised the outstanding accomplishments within the amateur boxing community but also highlighted the dedication and hard work of its members.
