Community Engagement Event to take place at Beach Festival 2023 in Bournemouth

Western Counties apprentice Gabrielle Reid will be hosting her summer Community Engagement event at Bournemouth’s Beach Festival 2023 on the weekend 12th and 13th August 2023.
The festival is set to be held on Boscombe beach from 9am to 6pm both Saturday and Sunday and will feature a host of activities including beach soccer, beach volleyball and live music. A celebrity beach soccer match is also set to take place.
As part of the celebrations Gabrielle, who will be joined by Southern Counties Club Support Officer Max Segre, will offer free taster sessions to the local community, including the opportunity to try out some pad work and take to the boxing ring to learn the basics.
Local boxing gym Olympia will be providing the ‘boxing arena’, which includes a boxing ring and punchbags. Other England Boxing-affiliated clubs have also been invited, and they will help demonstrate the fundamentals of boxing to the local public.
