England Boxing is pleased to announce a partnership for Unibox to become the organisation’s official supplier of competition rings for its National Championships and major events.
The deal will cover this year’s England Boxing National Development Championships and England Boxing Women’s Winter Box Cup, plus all 2023 tournaments.
Unibox will also be headline sponsoring the England Boxing National Schools Championships 2023 which, as is custom, will take place in May.
Centrally located in Birmingham and covering the whole of the UK, Unibox has established a strong reputation over more than 40 years as specialists in boxing ring hire, provided boxing rings to professional, amateur and other combat sports.
The company has over 80 boxing rings available for hire, varying in size from 17ft to 24ft, with a range of platform heights to cater for every club, national and international event.
All rings conform to specifications and standards and regularly feature at events covered by Sky Sports, the BBC, ITV, Boxnation and others.
“We are proud to be working in partnership with England Boxing Championships and look forward to continue working to spread the values of boxing and provide support to the boxing community,” said Gary Cogan, Managing Director at Unibox.
“We’ve supplied England Boxing’s rings for a number of years now and have seen over the time the hugely positive and inspirational impact that those competitions have on boxers of all ages.
“It’s at Schools level that the dream starts for so many young boxers, and we’re hugely looking forward to seeing the next generation of future stars coming through at the Unibox-sponsored 2023 event, where we know the interest will be as strong as ever.”
All Unibox’s boxing rings are made using only the best materials and fabricated in the company’s own factory to ensure quality and reliability, with several depots across the country ensuring rings are supplied in a timely manner with a professional service.
UniBox also offers a wide range of extras such as custom canvases, corner pads, rope covers, corner hooks, corner posts, toblerones, ring skirts, rope dividers (downties), round cards and barrier covers.
Clubs and organisations can also purchase gym rings ranging in size from 10ft to 24ft in customisable colours.
England Boxing’s Competitions and Events Manager, Mick Maguire, added: “We’d like to thank Gary, Megan and all at Unibox for their ongoing support of England Boxing and, by extension, the boxers, coaches and clubs who take part in our events.
“They continue to be an ever-reliable partner for us and we know that we can rely on the rings we are supplied by them to be of the highest quality.”
