Applications Open for Women’s Aspire Programme 2024 (Schools Boxers)

England Boxing will host the third female Aspire event of the year, this time focusing on Schools female boxers. The event will take place on September 15th, from 12pm – 4pm, at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.
This event is designed to provide young female boxers with the opportunity to network with fellow athletes and coaches, fostering connections within the boxing community. Participants will also gain valuable experience in the themes and techniques emphasised in the England Boxing Pathway Programme. This initiative continues to support the development and empowerment of female boxers, helping them to grow both in and out of the ring.
Eligible criteria for the School’s Women’s Aspire Day:
- Be a School Boxer born from 2010 -2012.
- You must be registered on The Locker for the 2024/2025 season.
- Have an in date medical and your Red BCR1 digital card.
- NEVER attended or been selected for the England Boxing Talent/Performance Pathway or previous Women’s Aspire Programme.
- No more than THREE boxers from the same club will be allowed to attend. This is to give all clubs equal accessibility.
- ONE coach per club may attend to support the day, you must hold an England Boxing purple digital lanyard (which must have an in-date DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding)
There are 60 places available which will be allocated on a first come basis.
Closing date for applications is Sunday 1st September 2024 at 4pm.
