Appeal for fresh information on Youths incident after arrest made

Warwickshire Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses and information on the disturbance that saw last weekend’s England Boxing National Youth Championships 2020 postponed.
A 35-year-old man from London has now been arrested and released on police bail in relation to the incident at the Sports Connexion, Leamington Road, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry on Saturday 15th February.
Officers working to identify all involved are now appealing for information from those in attendance who may not have yet come forward.
The remaining bouts in the Youth Championships will now take place on Saturday 29th February and Sunday 1st March at Birtley ABC in the Tyne, Tees and Wear region.
“We will not tolerate incidents of this nature and are working hard to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident,” said Superintendent Pete Hill from Warwickshire Police.
“I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident, has video footage of the incident or has information that could help with our investigation to please get in touch.”
