England Boxing’s Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) Programme has received confirmation from UCAS for that the allocation of its level three course has now been raised to 64 points.

It is significant and hugely encouraging news for those boxers who wish to progress to university and higher education.

DiSE offers many pathways for its boxers, one of which is academia as well as boxing performance opportunities.

The increase from 40 to 64 points will add even further value to university applications.

Coupled with the extensive points gained from the main qualification the boxers achieve on the course, this is a warmly welcomed bonus helping boxers on their onward journeys.

DiSE administrators would like to express their thanks to the two awarding bodies – 1st4Sport and Pearson’s – for their help and support in getting this submission through to a successful conclusion.

The DiSE programme is open to teenagers aged 16 to 19. For more details, centre providers and who is eligible for the course, click here.
